Our company has developed a coating material for silicon brick walls that can form a 3mm thick protective layer on the inner surface of the silicon brick walls of a calcining furnace. After reaching 1250° C, it can achieve complete sintering with the surface of the silicon bricks. The sintered coating material bonds firmly to the surface of the silicon bricks, forming a smooth glaze layer. It is also volume-stable, not expanding or contracting. This coating material not only resists the erosion of impurities such as sulfur and vanadium found in petroleum coke under high temperatures but also addresses the erosion caused by these impurities along the mortar joints ofthe silicon bricks. Additionally, it can resist the formation of coking on the surface of the refractory silicon brick products, thereby improving the production efficiency of the tank- type calcining furnaces.

During the operation of the calcining furnace, if the inner wall of the silicon brick starts to show slight damage, thismaterial can be used to spray and repair the damaged area, extending the service life of the tank-type calcining furnace.
